1. Terms and conditions for shipping and delivery
- The toys purchased in the Woodix Toys online store will be sent to the shipping address selected by the customer during the check-out process. At the time of delivery an adult of over 18 years of age shall be present to sign the delivery documents. Delivery cannot be made to P.O. Boxes and these orders will not be processed.
- For each order completed at the Woodix Toys online store, Woodix Toys will send the customer an order confirmation email. When shipping the order to the customer, a shipping notification email will be sent to the customer. For the issuance of the order confirmation email and the shipping notification email Woodix Toys will refer to the data provided by the customer.
- Each delivery of an order completed at the Woodix Toys online store shipped to the customer will include a delivery note. For the issuance of the delivery note Woodix Toys will refer to the data provided by the customer. Once the delivery note has been issued no modification of the same will be possible.
- The shipping and delivery expenses are to be borne by the customer and are clearly indicated on this page (see 3. Shipping zones, estimate delivery timings and shipping & handling prices) and during the checkout process of the Woodix Toys online store.
- Orders completed at the Woodix Toys online store will be shipped via Taxipost, its contractors or subcontractors. For more information about Taxipost, please see below (2. Taxipost: your parcels deserve VIP treatment). Woodix Toys reserves the right to ship orders with other courier services than Taxipost.
- Orders completed at the Woodix Toys online store which will be dispatched the next 2 working days following the confirmed availability and charge of the order. The order will be dispatched between Monday to Friday, excluding local and national holidays and festivities. For the estimate delivery timings, please see below (3. Shipping zones, estimate delivery timings and shipping & handling prices). Woodix Toys is not responsible for unpredictable delays, notwithstanding that, except for cases of Force Majeure, the order will be delivered within a maximum of 30 working days following the day after the submission to Woodix Toys of the order by the customer. Unless other specified by the wait time specified on the order.
- For the delivery of the order the customer or a person authorized by the latter shall be present at the address indicated in the order. At the time of the delivery of the order, the customer shall verify:
- that the number of the boxes are same as reported on the transportation documents;
- that the packaging is not damaged, or wet or in another way tampered with. Any damage in the packaging and or in the toy(s) or any discrepancy between the number of the boxes actually delivered and the number of the boxes indicated on the transportation document, shall be immediately notified by indicating it in writing on the courier’s delivery documents. Once the customer has signed the courier’s transportation document, the customer may not oppose objection on the external characteristic of the delivered goods.
2. Taxipost: your parcels deserve VIP treatment
Taxipost, a business unit of the Belgian Post, is market leader in parcel delivery to consumers in Belgium. Every parcel is scanned throughout the sorting and delivery chain, ensuring they are tracked closely and handled with the utmost care.
Tracking your parcel:
If you want to check the status of your parcel, you can always visit www.taxipost.be/track, select parcels and enter the tracking number you received.
Delivery timings:
Belgium: Every parcel given to Taxipost for delivery in Belgium is presented to the addressee next working day. If you’re not at home when Taxipost tries to deliver your parcel, you can always ask for a second presentation or collect your parcel from a PostPoint or post office in your neighbourhood.
Europe: Every parcel given to Taxipost for delivery in Europe is presented to the addressee within 4 working days. A signature will be requested to you. If you are not at home when Taxipost or one of its European partners tries to deliver your parcel, you will be contacted for a second presentation.
